I’m a dancer, turned photographer, turned dance photographer. I’m based out of North Georgia but my team and I LOVE to travel. We primarily service the southeast but I have worked in California and even the Virgin Islands twice for photoshoots. I’m a certified teacher that has experience teaching children aged 3 through 18. I have a current Safe Sport certification and background check. I value learning and have attended all of the Pas de Deux Dance Photography Conferences as well as other professional learning. The classes gave me valuable hands on experience from some of the world’s top dance photographers.

We have a studio space in North Georgia  but also can bring a full photography studio to you. I love collaborating with dance studios and capturing recital portraits. So much time is spent rehearsing for a performance. I love showing dancers the back of my camera and watching the smile grow across their face. It can be the first time the younger girls have seen themselves as a dancer. My lighting and backdrops combined with their costume and training comes together. I strive to build their confidence with my work.

Dance is my passion. I spent my 40th birthday at the barre with my friends. Other photographers may be able to take beautiful pictures of a dancer. My goal is to take a beautiful picture WITH a dancer. I want my clients to feel confident and beautiful. I like to collaborate and communicate with my clients to create art together. I have a large screen in the studio so we can instantly review and perfect poses during the photoshoot. I’m always learning new things and try to improve daily.

If you want a photographer that can tendu with you and knows a frappe’ is not always found at a coffee shop I would love to work with you.  Dance is fun, your pictures should be tutu. One more pun, going with another photographer is pointe-less.
